It is important to perform the data transformation by providing the task with the appropriate format of data, depending on the source of interest. This can be done using a transform expression. The conversion task is used to rebuild records from one form to another. This allows users to transform their data using formulas and mapping techniques according to their requirements. Can be used for all task nodes. This section is related to adding transformation expressions to all optional input fields. Sapper allows you to add multiple formulas to the input fields of various options. You can insert as many formulas as you need in various input fields. Formulas can only be added to optional fields. How to use the transformation formula in all input fields?
Click on the automation tab from the “Sapper home page”.
2. Select the required automation from the list, or create a new one based on your requirement.
3. To create a new automation click on “Create Automation”, and a new form will be open on the screen.
4. Now fill the details for creating the automation. Add the “Name”, and provide a “Description” based on your requirements.
5. Click on “Save” for saving the automation.
6. Now, drag and drop the required application from the “Apps” field. Here we have selected “Jira”.
7. Select the “Connection” from the drop-down list. Here we have selected “Jira connection”.
8. Choose the desired action from the “Action” field.
9. Now, you will get the option for adding “Transformation Formula” in the all optional input field.
10. To add the formula, click on the “Formula” option, and you will get the formula suggestion box.
11. Now add the desired formula by searching it from the formula suggestion box.
12. You can add multiple formulas for the various optional field based on your requirement.
13. Now “Save” to for completing the automation.
